Happy New Year!

Well. Here I am on the web. As the first morning of 2008 dawned, I woke up, looked around and realized that what the world needed was one more blog. There just aren’t quite enough people posting whatever is on their mind to whoever in the world feels like reading it. No, there may be millions of those, but it seems that in 2008, what the world needed was one more.

So here I am, adding my voice to the cybersphere. Doing this blog is something I’ve been meaning to “get around to” for quite awhile. Now that I have finally thrown my hat in the ring, I intend to do so in earnest. So if you care, please subscribe, and watch this space.

My first “real post” explains the rather strange name of this blog. I figured that should be a static page for any future new guests, so check it out here. Next time, I’ll write about why I’m bothering blogging. But maybe you already know that, because I won’t advertise this site until I write that post. By the way, I’m new to this blogging gig, so I’m grateful for any tips that any of you have about this site: technical tips, etiquette, comments on my layout, whatever.
